Soldier On, Gravesend - Thursday 1st March 2018

What happens when a company of ex-soldiers becomes a company of actors?   A theatrical band of brothers.

Although it’s not a cure all, the bonding, the humour, the theatre of war helps to put them back together again - as a company of veterans and actors rehearse a play about a company of veterans and actors. Although worlds apart they begin to realise there are more similarities between military life and the theatre than they bargained for, building a powerful new world of their own.

This is a heart warming story about surviving the forces and PTSD and what happens when you leave the military ‘family”.

Woodville Auditorium,
Woodville Place, Gravesend DA12 1DD

Combat Stress: March in March

March in March is a virtual 10 mile challenge. You can run, walk or jog the distance at any time during March.

This March we’re asking the Great British public to put their best foot forward to help us meet the staggering 143% increase in demand we've seen in the last ten years for our specialist services.

To fund the growing demand, we're launching our first ever virtual event March in March! Join #TeamCombatStress and run, walk or jog 10 miles on any day in March. How and where you complete the challenge is completely up to you, which means the event can be adjusted to your own personal challenge – walk ten miles in one day, beat your personal best by running 10 miles as fast as possible or do it indoors on a treadmill.

Choose the location and pace that best suits you and help raise funds for veterans mental health.

Action Fraud: Flight Ticket Scam

Fraudsters are attempting to entice victims who are looking for cheap flights abroad.

Victims have reported booking tickets via websites or a “popular” ticket broker, only to discover that after payment via bank transfer or electronic wire transfer, the tickets/booking references received are counterfeit. In some cases, all communications between the company or broker and the victim have been severed.

Fraudsters are targeting individuals who are seeking to travel to African nations and the Middle East, particularly those wishing to travel in time for popular public and religious holidays.
